- Labradorite
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral that forms in magical igneous rocks. It is known for its spectacular optical effect called "labradorescence," a play of metallic colors ranging from blue to green and gold, caused by the diffraction of light on thin internal layers. The most important deposits are found in Canada (Labrador), Norway, Finland, and Madagascar.
It is considered a stone linked to magic, intuition and protection against external energies.
