Burgundy Dolomite and Rose Quartz Necklace

This 70 cm necklace is a creation of profound charm, played on the intense and refined shades of burgundy and pink.
It's crafted with a sequence of faceted burgundy Dolomite, giving the necklace a warm, velvety shine. The two ends feature a delicate transition of natural black spinel in small spheres, framing the focal point of the piece.
The star of the show is the smooth, oval Rose Quartz lateral connector, chosen for its unmistakable, natural infiltrations. I crafted this element entirely by hand in burnished copper to transform it into a refined dual-purpose connector: one end attaches to the necklace and the other houses the lobster clasp.
A small faceted Strawberry Quartz has been added to the connector to embellish and discreetly mask the copper-colored lobster clasp, completing the chromatic harmony of the whole.
The necklace measures 70 cm and is worn sideways to highlight the Rose Quartz connector.

Spinel is a mineral known for its extreme hardness and vibrant shine, making it an excellent alternative to more common stones. The most famous deposits are found in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Tanzania. One of the most beloved quartz varieties, Rose Quartz is famous for its delicate pastel pink color, due to traces of titanium, iron, and manganese. Deposits are found in Brazil, the United States, and South Africa. It is universally recognized as the stone of unconditional love, kindness, and self-acceptance.
