The stick is hand-forged from 2.2mm copper wire, hammered and filed to make it very solid and sturdy.
A natural stone has been electroformed onto the stick. The copper has been oxidized with a special sulfur-based patina, polished, and then sealed with wax to preserve the finish. An original and elegant way to tie your hair. It can also be used as a hairpin for a loosely woven scarf or shawl.
